NOVA pioneered the first river rafting day trips in Alaska on the Matanuska River north of Anchorage, and the first class V whitewater trips in Alaska on Six Mile Creek south of Anchorage. All these trips are 1.5 hours drive from Anchorage. Both locations offer scenic and whitewater experiences that have been popular with Alaskans and their visiting friends and relatives for 34 years. All necessary gear is provided including the most advanced dry-suits for your safety and comfort.
