The evening Lion Head raft trip is traditionally the high-water run of the day and is popular with Alaskans celebrating the long summer daylight near Solstice. The last segment has twilight conditions with mystical views.
Trips generally end around 11:00 pm which makes your arrival back in Anchorage around 1:00 am. There are accommodations and more camping facilities locally for those who wish to overnight. Free RV and tent camping right where the trip ends at our Hicks Creek facility for NOVA clients only. Our large deck and fire pit are also available to use after the trip.
